The Norwood Park Historical Society (NPHS) is headquartered at the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House, which contains its local history museum, archives, exhibits and meeting and event space.
The Norwood Park Historical Society, incorporated as a State of Illinois not-for-profit organization in 1973, is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and sharing the history of Norwood Park.
The NPHS is governed, managed, and operated entirely by volunteers and receives no government funding. The organization depends on membership, donations, and fundraising and is completely self-supporting. Please donate and help us continue to serve our community! The NPHS cannot do this without your support, contributions and participation.
Located on the northwest side of Chicago, the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House is accessible by the CTA Blue Line (Harlem Avenue), Metra (Norwood Park), Kennedy Expressway, and numerous bus lines.
Museum and Museum Store hours are Saturdays, noon to 4pm or by appointment. To make an appointment, email admin@nphstestweb.krumrey.net or call 773-631-4633. For groups or school field trips, please contact the NPHS at least four weeks in advance.
The NPHS is happy to answer your questions! Docents are available during Museum hours to provide community history and answer general questions.
